POSITION SUMMARY

Playbook is seeking a motivated and results-driven Client Services Coordinator to support the day-to-day needs of clients and internal team members. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, ensuring successful project execution, and contributing to account growth. The ideal candidate is results-driven and will have a background in sports, healthcare, and/or entertainment industries and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.

There will be occasions that you will be required to support client needs on-site at various events or sporting events that fall on nights and/or weekends. Understanding that the sports business can bring travel, late nights, and weekend work, this role may extend beyond a traditional 9-5, Monday-Friday schedule. The role will be remote, however preference will be given to an individual living in a major market.

essential functions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications, project management, client strategy, and account growth.

  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, properties, leagues, and partners to ensure successful campaign execution.

  • Prepare materials for client meetings, including PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Lead ideation and implementation of client engagement strategies, working collaboratively with internal team members to incorporate analytics, creative, activation, and strategy.

  • Manage a variety of projects related to event marketing, branding, concept development, experience management, vendor coordination, and production.

  • Partner with Playbook Analytics team to conduct research to support client presentations and strategic planning. Support the planning and setup processes for event activations and campaigns.

  • Assist with on-site activation delivery and campaign deployment, including travel for planning and execution as needed.

  • Stay informed on event marketing trends and developments in the sports industry and proactively share with clients and the broader Playbook For Health team.

  • Represent the organization with professionalism in both internal and external engagements.

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience in marketing, sports, healthcare, and/or events industries.

  • Experience leading brand development and/or campaign planning, innovation and creative ideation processes.

  • Data driven with the ability to review research and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in diagnosing and resolving complex issues.

  • Excellent decision-making, influence, communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to develop client facing presentations / materials. Experience with creative tools such as Adobe or Canva is a plus.

  • Experience with data mapping services a plus.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with high levels of professionalism.

  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow and contribute to team success.

  • Passion for sports and entertainment with an understanding of the role sponsorships play in these fields.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges, regardless of the task size.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within in a fast-paced environment and possess high levels of professionalism, particularly in stressful situations.
